The Taste of Australia 2024 was open to the local public for the first time ever, held on the weekend of 11 to 12 May 2024, at Le Van Tam Park, located in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The event featured 20 booths in Food and Beverage, Education and Sustainability, entertainment and performances, as well as a range of kid activities.
Australian-Vietnamese chef Tommy Pham was on hand to demonstrate zero-waste cooking, and Queensland’s Tribal Experiences dance group shared their unique and ancient culture through traditional dance and didgeridoo.
Sustainability was also incorporated in the event, with surplus food donation, sustainable waste management and free water refill stations onsite.
