Australia is the 2025-2026 chair of the Asia-Pacific Safeguards Network. The role is fulfilled by ASNO Director General Geoffrey Shaw. Australia will, for the first time, host the 16th Annual Meeting and the following APSN / IAEA seminar. Event is being held in Perth 3-7 November. Amongst the guests will be Deputy Director General IAEA, Max Aparo.
