Minister for Foreign Affairs, Senator the Hon Penny Wong is in Tokyo, Japan, attending the 10th Pacific Islands Leaders Meeting (PALM10) on 18 July 2024.
Representatives from the 18 Pacific Islands Forum (PIF) members and Japan attended with the aim of strengthening ties with Pacific island countries and regions.
The National Foundation for Australia-China Relations welcomed representatives from the Australian and Chinese Governments, Australian industry, academia and Australian-Chinese community to farewell Chair Pru Bennett and welcome Ms Marina Go AM to the board. Chair Pru Bennett will finish her term as Chair on 23 June. Ms Marina Go AM will commence in June 2025. The Australian National University's hosted the event at the Australian Centre on China in the World Centre on the 10 June 2025./,.
