SurfAid is celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Australian Government's ANCP. Thanks to the support of the ANCP, we've been able to bring nutritional programs, clean water, sanitation, and greater access to healthcare to remote communities like those in Rote East Nusa Tenggara, empowering their development for generations to come.

As DFAT's grant delivery partner, UNICEF hosted a WASH in Schools Awards ceremony on 2 Aug 24 in Bairiki South Tarawa. Awards were presented to three South Tarawa schools for the best WASH related initiatives. Each school wins an Australian-funded permanent WASH station. The schools are: Tabontemaneaba Primary School, Ngaon te Rabakau Junior Secondary School and William Goward Memorial College.

Availability of oxygen support systems in regional locations of PNG is critical to save the lives of patients with severe acute respiratory illnesses, including COVID-19.
